Thank you for your interest in the Darlington and District Model Flying Club.

We currently have a membership of about eighty members and fly from a site near Croft Autodrome. We encourage beginners and experts alike and offer free instruction on all types of aircraft.

The club have a number of BMFA qualified instructors and examiners who will progress you from your introductory flight to achieving your BMFA "A" licence. This is your licence to fly solo at DDMFC and is normally achieved within six months depending on weather and your learning curve. Once solo the BMFA has a number of achievement schemes for you to aim for. The great part of this hobby is that you never stop learning.
