The Club’s principal aim shall be the promotion of safe and responsible model aircraft flying for fixed wing aircraft only.
It should be noted that it is not the club’s ambition to maximise either membership numbers or the club’s cash reserves. Instead, the club will aim to provide members with first class facilities which they can enjoy without overcrowding (or adversely impacting the local environment) and at a reasonable price. Membership numbers will be capped at a level consistent with this aim and club fees will be set at a level which enables the club to maintain a moderate cash contingency for sensible improvements and unforeseen events. In assessing membership applications, priority will be given to the family of existing members, ex-members and new members who are not existing members of another club.
Please contact us for a current copy of our Club Constitution and handbook. We operate under the guidelines of the BMFA handbook which we regard as rules.
